Ostensibly, this composite transcription of A Smo-o-o-oth One is a generic perspective of three takes – actually, other than the “mop” exclamation at the end of the guitar break on the final chorus, the master take (-2) is not really considered.  That originally-issued take contains some clarinet whinnying on the opening chorus that kinda turns the released side into a novelty tune.  The generally-presumed-to-be the first take (-X) is our favored portrayal.  Each take can be individually heard below:
