Eleven days after the studio date which produced multiple takes of Six Appeal the band was still on their West Coast tour in a beautiful setting on Santa Catalina Island.  Charlie Christian hadn’t changed his 16-bar solo significantly remaining mostly in the lower frets for the first eight bars and transitioning to the higher frets on the next eight.  Not much to remark on here.  On this solo, there are many similarities between the first four bars and the next four before he goes into the higher regions.  The recording cuts off during the riff chorus after the bass solo.
